At least one bomb has exploded near a market in the northern Nigerian city of Kano, officials and residents say.
A blast hit an area where goods are loaded into vehicles at the Kantin Kwari textile market.
There were no immediate details of casualties.

Last month more than 100 people died in a gun and bomb attack during prayers at one of the biggest mosques in Kano.
Kantin Kwari is the biggest textile market in Kano, where people from neighbouring states and other parts of the country come for transactions, the market is always jam-packed with people.
